Hey guys,
It been a long time since i visited. I recently bought a new laptop from HP. The HP pavillion DV-6. An i7 2.2, 6 Gig of RAM 640 GB HDD BD drive and a ATI RADEON 6490 CARD! I loaded up Crysis 2 and it fired up fine and knew that i had a graphics inside. Intel default can’t run Crysis so smoothly.
Then i installed CPU-Z and to my shock i couldn’t find my ATI radeon there.

The more and more I see…..

The more and more I see Windows 8 *Start* interface it is looking like a train wreck in motion. I want people to go
back and look at a Windows 3.x desktop and tell me the differences between icons, and tiles? Outside of them cluttering up the desktop. And NOW seeing this:

….it has me more disparaged on Windows 8 And thinking back to the Windows 3.x era I was happy to see Windows 95 come on the scene, it cleaned up the entire desktop, and made computing more fun and easy for the average Joe/Jill. Another person mentioned that I was afraid of change to a newer O/S. BUT is it really a new interface, or a retro one thrown back at us with a charm? Tiles, or Icons HOW much difference is there really between the two? The only icons I had with the Win9x – thru – Win 7 is Computer, Network, & Recycle Bin. Everything else is accessed thru the start menu.

I am looking for an anti-virus that has nothing coded into it to ever pop a misc. window up in front of your active, full-screen windows by default. Pop-ups related to the purpose of the anti-virus (to detect virus, etc.) are obviously fine.

MSE – Pops up…
